Connaught Academy has an established gas assessment centre which is managed by an efficient team of occupationally competent staff who have been in the industry throughout their working careers.

Gas engineers currently working with central heating boilers will need to hold an Energy Efficiency qualification for certifying their work.
Connaught Academy are accredited with the awarding body NICEIC to deliver these qualifications.

ACS LPG - Liquid Petroleum Gas
This course is aimed at existing gas operatives (Category 1 applicants) seeking to re-new or add categories to existing qualifications. There is the option for operatives to undergo re-assessment in replacement of initial assessment subject to the individual’s status.

This certificated training course meets the requirements of CORGI’s entrance criteria for Applicants Categorisation 2 and 3. This beginner course is aimed at aspirant operatives who wish to enter the domestic gas industry sector.

Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating
With the Government's recent changes to Building Regulations, installers and homeowners will need their heating and hot waters installations approved by a competent person in order to sell their home. The 6084 qualification allows installers to sign off their own work without having to notify building control and therefore will not incur extra costs.
