SITE SAFETY FOR SHOPFITTERS AND INTERIOR CONTRACTORS
This course is for site managers, supervisors, foremen and those who have or are about to be, responsible for overseeing site operations involving groups of staff and workforce within the shop fitting and interior contracting industry.
Develop knowledge, awareness and an understanding of their legal, moral and social responsibilities in respect of health, safety and welfare in the shop fitting and interior contracting industry. Management of health and safety on site in accordance with current legislation provisions and within the context of their management or supervisory role. Develop an understanding of their responsibilities and accountability for site, health, safety and welfare. Recognise that a safe site is efficient, economical and productive.

SITE SUPERVISORS’ SAFETY TRAINING SCHEME
This course is for first line managers. It provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will provide a sound knowledge base to enable them to give valuable assistance in safely managing a construction site.
This course provides the ideal introduction for those supervisors who have had some or little previous health and safety training. The course will give supervisors a clear understanding of how health and safety affects their role and the practical steps they can take to ensure a safe site.
