Management and Supervision

Supervisory qualifications are designed for those people who are entering a management role or wish to gain a qualification that formally recognises their skills. These awards are also suitable for people who lead a team and are responsible for its performance. These qualifications would be appropriate for learners who wish to progress from supervisory levels on to various levels of management qualifications.
The aims of these qualifications are to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of management and leadership. They provide an insight into the principles and processes of management and leadership and could enhance career progression.
These awards are designed for candidates who are entering a management role or who wish to gain a qualification that formally recognises their skills. They can also be utilised for candidates who manage a team and are responsible for a team's performance.
- Management qualifications are available for Team Leading Levels 2 and 3 and Management Levels 3 to 5.
- The qualification for Team Leading Level 2 and 3 are technical certificates and could enhance Management NVQs at Levels 2 to 5.
Connaught Academy is accredited with the awarding body EDI to deliver these qualifications.
Management Level 3
This NVQ qualification is suitable to provide learners with the skills that they need to competently undertake management roles, spanning from leading a team within an organisation to leading the organisation itself. This technical certificate aims to develop the background knowledge and understanding for a range of middle management roles.
