6129 Technical Certificate in Basic Plumbing Studies Level 2
This plumbing certificate is for those learners who wish to pursue a career in the water and plumbing sector. The main aim is to qualify candidats to understand the underlying practical tasks and knowledge requirements that would enable them to work in domestic properties and households on plumbing appliances and systems.

6129 Technical Certificate in Plumbing Studies Level 3
This is an advanced level qualification and provides the knowledge and theory required to undertake the Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing. Candidates will cover similar areas as for the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing but at a more advanced level, together with additional requirements to complement the level of the qualification. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course.

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (6089)
The NVQ in Plumbing will put into practice the skills candidates have learned from the technical certificate. The qualification is about achieving work-based competency in conjunction with the certificate. It is a qualification that candidates undertake “on the job” and therefore candidates must be in employment or have a suitable work placement.
