NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (6089)
The NVQ in Plumbing will put into practice the skills candidates have learned from the technical certificate. The qualification is about achieving work-based competency in conjunction with the certificate. It is a qualification that candidates undertake “on the job” and therefore candidates must be in employment or have a suitable work placement to undertake the skills and criteria required for the NVQ. Candidates will prove that they are able to perform various tasks by using practical skills. Candidates will be assessed and observed while they are carrying out specific work duties. They will also produce a portfolio that provides evidence of the jobs they have performed. Connaught Academy offer these awards through various apprentice schemes as well as to individual learners.
